MAX works to elevate the brand of an underserved community, Muslims in North America. They do this through recognizing, rewarding, celebrating and motivating high achievement, positive and productive contributions to society by Muslims in North America.

MAX Aspire is looking to grow the platform by introducing new features that will enhance the user experience for connecting with other aspiring professionals and senior executives. This requires changes and continuous additions to the front and back-end of the platform. For this, MAX Aspire is looking for 2-3 software developers with experience with full stack development in a team oriented environment. MAX Aspire aims to help aspiring professionals accelerate their careers by connecting them with experienced leaders for career guidance. Continuously enhancing and improving the user experience is vital to ensure MAX achieves its strategic vision of helping aspiring professionals in their careers. The 10,000 Hours volunteers would be part of the development team that implements such enhancements. Volunteers will need to have: 3+ years of industry experience in software development, familiar with Python (preferred), C, C++ or similar programming languages, experience using cloud computing platforms (preferably AWS), experience using serverless functions, willing to learn, and ability to work independently and collaboratively, as well as good verbal and written communication skills.

These features will create a more user friendly and enjoyable MAX Aspire platform. The enhanced platform will enable aspiring professionals to unlock the benefits of career guidance from experienced leaders and help accelerate their careers.
