MAX works to elevate the brand of an underserved community, Muslims in North America. They do this through recognizing, rewarding, celebrating and motivating high achievement, positive and productive contributions to society by Muslims in North America.
MAX Aspire (aspire.maxgala.com) is our newest online platform that enables young aspiring professionals in this underserved community connect with Senior Executives through coffee chats. The MVP (minimum viable product) was released earlier this year. Now we are looking to add two features (Marketplace and Chat), clean up bugs, and add an experienced volunteer to manage student volunteer coders and help drive this project forward. Currently, the Marketplace and Chat features are in the initial stages of development. The scope is not yet fully documented but the development team is aware of what functionality needs to be created. Knowledge of React, Python, and AWS an asset but not required.

This work will enable MAX Aspire to further our mandate to connect aspiring professionals with Senior Executives, and enable an underserved community to strive to advance in their respective professions through effective networking at high levels.
